Locked Out.

 Hola,

Great two week here in San Pedro Martir.

Week 15th - 21st:

Thursday we had Zone Conference and the theme was "Did you think to pray." We talked about all aspects of prayer. President Lyman focused on Prayers of Faith. It was a great conference. I learned a ton.

Friday our friend Ricardo had his baptismal interview, and everything is a green light for his baptism this Saturday the 25th.

Saturday we had two noteworthy experiences:
1. A Lady stopped us in the street and told us that in these days "four bishops will arise and lead the people into darkness" and "that  these evil people will eat those that proselytize. The Jehovah's Witnesses and the Mormons." And that she has seen this happen. Misioneros al carbón. Since that moment we have been very alert for these satanic cannibals 🙃.
2. When we got to our house we found that we couldn't open the door. Our neighbor had shut it with the security lock. That was fun so we talked to President and went to go sleep with the elders of Rosal.

Sunday we left Rosal´s house right after waking up to make it to our 8am church. Church without suits in the same clothes that you wore the day before is a different experience.

The 22nd Pday we went to Hidalgo to play soccer with a few other elders and then went to Chilies for lunch.

Week of 22nd - 28th:

Wednesday we had exchanges with the elders of Hidalgo. I got to spend the day with Elder Carrazco, our district leader. It was a great day of misioneros work and we were able to find a family of inactive members with few nonmembers. When we started the exchange I wasn't feeling the best and when we were eating lunch it got really bad, I ended up throwing up in the street. That fixed everything and I didnt have a problem for the rest of the day.

Saturday was Ricardo's baptism. It went great, and we had a pretty good turn out from the ward in support. I got to do the ordinance. I haven't gotten to do a baptism in a while so that was great.

Sunday Ricardo got confirmed, we gave talks in the 1st wards sacrament meeting. For lunch we got to go to a member´s who was having a gathering of family and friends and we got some really good barbacoa.

For this pday, Elder Olson and I decided to visit some members in San Pablo. It was where I was serving a year ago and Elder Olson was the Elder that took the area over after me. It was great to go back and visit those members. We both agree that it was one of the best areas of our missions.

Hasta la próxima,
Elder Neilson

P.s.
The secretaries told me this week that I'm going home on the 16th of June. The CCM is changing the day that they release missionaries so I get 4 more days here in Mexico. It was originally the 12th.

San Pedro Martir 2.1-2

 Hola,

Sorry for No email last week. It wasn't too eventful:
- Wednesday was exchanges with the elders of Hidalgo, I went to Hidalgo and spent the day with our DL Elder Carrazco
- Saturday we had a baptismal interview for our investigator Emiliano, and transfer announcements, me and Elder Olson are staying here.
- Sunday was the Zone´s end of the transfer testimony meeting.

This week was pretty standard, just a normal week.
The big thing was Emiliano´s baptism. It went great, Elder Olson did the ordinance . Sunday was his confirmation, which I got to do.

That about it, sorry for the short email.

Hasta la próxima,
Elder Neilson
